Solutions, Inc. announces the availability of Sim-phony's Voice Disaster
Recovery (SVDR), a revolutionary new solution for your customers. Never
again miss incoming calls due to power interruptions or during times of
an emergency. Sim-phony's
Voice Disaster Recovery (SVDR) is a cutting edge service offering for
any sized commercial business providing a stand-by disaster
recovery mechanism for premise voice equipment. SVDR ensures incoming
calls are never missed during times of emergency and employees have
access to the corporate voice network at all times. With SVDR on
stand-by, the current telephone infrastructure is mirrored automatically
routing calls through the SVDR system minutes after the PBX suffers a
critical loss of power. SVDR connects employee's to their voice network through mobile phones, residential phones, or
"hot" stand-by facilities utilizing TDM and VOIP technologies; a great
complement to an existing continuity plan or the crucial beginning of a
new one. With SVDR there is no equipment to purchase, install, or
maintain.
Up until now the cost of a stand-by
telephony infrastructure has been prohibitive. The Key facts why
Consumers are looking for voice protection now are:
- At no other time in our history
have uncontrollable factors lead to prolonged critical service
disruptions affecting business continuity including: Weather, Fire,
Terrorists attacks, Auto Accidents, and Cut Telephone Lines.
- Battery back-up and generators
are expensive and limited in usage time, frequently found to be
unreliable when needed most.
- During the August 2003 Black Out
in Ontario 99% of commercial business and government organizations
shut down while the Telephone Networks remained alive.
- The most unpredictable cause of
communication disruption today is due to weather; power service
disruption.
SVDR is housed at 151 Front Street in
Toronto; the heart of every major carrier's network servicing Canada,
