Simplified Telephony Solutions, Inc. (Sim-phony) is an industry leading business voice Solutions Company founded in 1980. With an original mandate too develop and service Canada’s very first visual voice mail software, Sim-phony progressed in open systems knowledge and voice application design to a point where today the company’s solution portfolio includes software and services with in the following primary business communications segments; Unified Messaging, Call Centre, Interactive Voice Response Systems, and the Business Voice Exchange (VoIP) service.
In 1998 Sim-phony recognized the changing landscape in voice communications, characterized by the deregulation of the Canadian telephony industry. Expanding on their business mission to include VoIP technologies, Sim-phony sought to include voice hosting services as a new business model on behalf of its customers. Recognizing the technological challenges associated with a telephony hosting business model, Sim-phony aggressively pursued an expansion strategy that culminated in the joint venture partnership with Halex Technology Consulting Inc., incorporating their collective 25 years of corporate IT experience, business process reviews and technical audit expertise with in the Sim-phony solution portfolio. In addition, Halex added their considerable expertise and hosting presence located in the prestigious 151 Front Street Tier 1 Toronto hosting facility, establishing Toronto as our first POP (now one of many) with in Canada. Today, our combined efforts have lead to the creation of two additional companies where we focus service delivery with in the VoIP services and Hosting services industries. Together, we operate as a conglomerate delivering our combined value, resources and expertise accumulated one step at a time through the delivery of countless customer engagements consisting of computer telephony, speech, telecom, VOIP, the internet, open systems, relational database development, and a variety of corporate automation software solutions over the past 25 years.
